What is the culture of the Golden Era?
Students will divide into four groups - fine arts, politics, religion, and the average person's daily life. Students will spend the week researching each of these different aspects of culture, and create a presentation educating the class on this subject. It's important before reading a specific era that we understand what is culturally happening in the area. Extra Credit will be given to the group with the most original mode of presentation (hint: this is not a powerpoint). To begin the class will come up with some questions that they would like to know regarding these four areas. Student's research should be reflective of the questions asked.
- Groups will submit a list of essential research questions by the beginning of class on Tuesday.
- Presentations must include a works cited page (in proper format).
- Presentations must be sent to Miss Sturm, and may be published to the website.
